Myse Technologies, Inc. (MyseTech) is a small, woman, minority owned business founded in December 2018 by Danielle Dougan. A Hampton University alumna and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Danielle started her career as an elementary school teacher. During her years teaching, she grew a passion for finding ways to incorporate technology into the classroom that would enhance her students educational experience. She taught herself how to code websites and quickly learned more and more about various IT platforms. In 2014, Danielle took a leap of faith and left teaching to pursue a career in IT. In five short years, she became a Senior Sharepoint and PowerApps Developer supporting government and private/commercial contracts.
The genesis for the name of my company, Theia Solutions, came to me in a flash but I was stumped when it came to designing the logo. I wanted to work with a company owned by a woman of color and a colleague connected me to Danielle. Looking back I’m so thrilled! Working with Danielle and her team was an easy and enjoyable process! We had a great conversation to start the project and only went through 2 revisions. Danielle and her team created my logo by listening to me.
